Naxalites Call for Kolhan Division Bandh on July 10
Police headquarters issue alert in response to potential threats.

RANCHI – The Naxalites have announced a shutdown in the Kolhan Division on July 10, which has led the police headquarters (Special Branch) to issue an alert.
According to intelligence reports, it is suggested that the Naxalites might carry out attacks on railway tracks, government property, or construction sites in the areas they have control over during the shutdown.
DGP Ajay Kumar Singh Issues Directives
DGP Ajay Kumar Singh has stated that an alert has been issued regarding security.
He has also instructed monitoring of Naxalite activities to ensure that they do not succeed in their plans.
Singh noted that as the number of Naxalites decreases, they call for shutdowns to show their presence.
Shutdown Called in Response to Police Operations
It is noteworthy that the shutdown was announced by Ashok, the spokesperson of the Southern Zonal Committee.
In his announcement, he mentioned that under Operation Kagar, the police and paramilitary forces are conducting Operation Clean in the forest areas of Porahat, Kolhan, and Saranda.
Several killings have occurred in Lowad and Lipunga as part of this operation.
The shutdown has been called in response to these incidents.
