South Eastern Railway Announces Train Schedule Changes

Adra Division Development Leads to Train Service Regulations

Due to developmental works in the Adra Division, South Eastern Railway has announced train schedule modifications, including cancellations and rescheduling, to facilitate infrastructure enhancements.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 08644/08643 Asansol-Adra-Asansol MEMU Special and the 03594/03593 Asansol-Purulia-Asansol MEMU Special, both scheduled for 21.01.2024, have been cancelled.

The 08174/08652 Tatanagar-Asansol-Barabhum MEMU Special, set for 21.01.2024, will now be short terminated at Adra.

Rescheduling affects the 13511 Tatanagar-Asansol Express, with its departure from Tatanagar on 21.01.2024 pushed from 13:20 hrs to 14:35 hrs.

An official of South Eastern Railway highlighted that the temporary regulation of train services is essential for the safety and efficiency of ongoing development projects.

The South Eastern Railway’s [Official Spokesperson] emphasized the importance of these regulatory measures for the progression of developmental initiatives in the Adra Division, seeking understanding and cooperation from passengers during this period.
