JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Motors has announced that its employee bus service will be unavailable on Tuesday, November 12, as buses are requisitioned for election duties in the Jharkhand Assembly Election 2024. The company has issued a circular instructing employees to arrange their own transportation on that day. Normal bus service will resume on November 14.
Additionally, Tata Motors and Cummins plants in Jamshedpur will observe a paid holiday on November 13 to allow employees to vote in the East Singhbhum district assembly elections. Employees engaged in essential and emergency services will work with a two-hour voting break on election day. For employees registered to vote in other districts, Tata Motors will offer a paid holiday on November 20, provided they submit voter slips as proof.
