JAMSHEDPUR – South Eastern Railway facilitates festival goers with brief halts at Gidhni Station.

In anticipation of the Shree Shree Thakur Anukul Chandra Satsang Utsav, certain trains will have a one-minute stoppage at Gidhni.

The temporary stoppages are scheduled from April 11th to April 17th, 2024, to assist passengers attending the festival.

Trains such as the Howrah-Tatanagar Steel Express and Howrah-Ranchi Intercity Express, among others, will participate in this arrangement.

Additionally, the 18033 Howrah-Ghatsila MEMU Express and its return service will run as per their normal schedule on April 13th, 2024.

This strategic decision aims to ensure convenient travel for festival participants while maintaining regular train services.

The inclusion of MEMU trains in the temporary schedule further underscores the railway’s effort to accommodate increased passenger flow during the festival period.
