XITE Gamharia held a vital training session on "Farishtey – Accident First Responders," enhancing emergency response skills and road safety awareness.
JAMSHEDPUR – XITE Gamharia organized a comprehensive training session on "Farishtey – Accident First Responders" on July 18th, aiming to enhance road safety and emergency preparedness among students.
This initiative was a joint effort by CII Yi XITE and CII Yi Yuva Jamshedpur Chapter Road Safety Vertical in collaboration with EMRI Green Health Services.
The training took place in the college conference hall and saw participation from over 55 eager students.
Expert trainers Dr. Pankaj Sachan, Senior Clinical Educator from EMRI Hyderabad, and Mr. Akash, an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician from EMRI Hyderabad, led the session.
They provided invaluable guidance on crucial accident response techniques.
Mrs. Shruti Jhujhunwala, Chair of the Road Safety vertical, Yi Yuva Jamshedpur Chapter, attended the session along with Mrs. Sakshi Gupta, Co-Chair, and Mr. Anupama Gupta, highlighting the importance of the initiative.
The four-hour training covered several critical areas, including introduction, hand hygiene, trauma emergencies, bleeding control, lifting techniques, and CPR skills.
Dr. Pankaj Sachan and Mr. Akash emphasized the importance of quick assessment and first aid until professional help arrives.
Their interactive sessions and practical demonstrations were highly engaging and informative.
The organizing team, including Ashish Singh, Nodal Officer of CII Yi XITE, played a crucial role in the event’s success.
The term "Farishtey," meaning "angels," reflects the role trained individuals can play in saving lives during accidents.
This training inspired participants to act as lifesavers in critical moments.
As the session concluded, participants felt a renewed sense of responsibility and confidence to make a difference in their community.
