A construction accident at Tanginala bridge site leaves worker with severe injuries after high tension wire contact.
JAMSHEDPUR – Dulu Sardar, a 21-year-old construction worker from West Bengal, faced a critical accident while working on a bridge in Tanginala, Kendua Burudih. Sardar sustained severe burns and a fractured right hand after contacting a high tension wire on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred as Sardar was moving a pipe, which then made contact with the wire, leading to immediate injuries to his hands and thighs. He was promptly taken to Dumaria Community Health Centre, where Dr. Saiba Soren administered initial treatment before referring him to MGM Hospital for further care.
Medical staff said that this accident highlights the risks faced by construction workers and the need for stringent safety measures at work sites.
