Jharkhand CM Fast-tracks Kantatoli Flyover in Ranchi

Jharkhand CM Champai Soren Champions Speedy Flyover Construction

In a move to expedite the completion of the Kantatoli Flyover in Ranchi, Jharkhand’s Chief Minister Champai Soren has directed officials for weekly progress updates, aiming to alleviate traffic congestion in the state’s capital. The directive follows a series of delays attributed to land acquisition and utility shifting challenges, now overcome to ensure the project’s completion by August this year.

RANCHI – Champai Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, emphasized the necessity of maintaining the traffic system during the flyover’s construction.

He highlighted that the smooth flow of traffic must not be disrupted, ensuring minimal inconvenience to the public.

On March 6, the Chief Minister personally reviewed the construction sites of Kantatoli and Siramtoli Flyovers.

His visit was aimed at reinforcing the urgency of meeting construction deadlines.

A reliable source mentioned, "The Chief Minister’s hands-on approach has significantly motivated the team."

Officials have committed to an August deadline for the Kantatoli Flyover’s completion.

The accelerated pace of construction marks a significant turnaround from previous delays.

Reasons for the project’s delay included hurdles in land acquisition and utility relocation.

Juidco’s representatives assured the Chief Minister of the project’s rapid progress.

Soren mandated weekly progress reports for the Kantatoli Flyover.

This strategy is intended to enhance oversight and timely completion.

"The weekly updates are a game-changer in ensuring the project stays on track," said a senior Juidco official.

The Chief Minister stressed the importance of the flyover for Ranchi’s traffic alleviation.

He demanded expedited work to prevent further delays in the flyover’s construction.

Champai Soren’s instructions were clear during a high-level meeting with Juidco and construction officials.

The meeting underscored the project’s urgency and the need for swift action.
