Railway Ministry Nods to MP Mahato’s Request for Train Extension
MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s advocacy yields the extension of Tata-Ara Express to Buxar, enhancing connectivity.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata-Ara Express (18183/18184) will now extend its service to Buxar.
This development follows MP Bidyut Baran Mahato’s sustained efforts for public welfare.
The Railway Ministry confirmed the extension, announcing a daily departure from Tatanagar at 8:15 am.
The train is set to reach Buxar at 10:50 pm, stopping at key stations en route.
MP Mahato received the news via a telephone call on Tuesday.
He expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Mahato’s numerous visits and meetings with the Railway Ministry were instrumental in this achievement.
This service expansion is seen as a boon for Jamshedpur and the broader Kolhan region.
It addresses long-standing demands for better connectivity to Uttar Pradesh.
Mahato highlighted the Modi government’s role in enhancing railway services.
