Ajodhya Hills Marathon Set to Celebrate Tribal Culture and Sportsmanship

Over 1,000 participants will gather at Ajodhya Hills for a culturally rich marathon event organized by the Kushal Educational Foundation.

JAMSHEDPUR – Ajodhya Hills of Purulia is set to witness an unprecedented gathering on February 25, as over a thousand enthusiasts prepare for the Purulia Marathon.

Organized by the Kushal Educational Foundation, the event aims to blend athletics with cultural celebrations.

The marathon will commence early at 7 am, with Tripura High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and TV celebrity Rannvijay Singha leading the flag-off.

A diverse lineup of ministers, dignitaries, and tribal figures will grace the occasion as special guests.

Participants, who have registered for free, will receive a kit with essentials including T-shirts.

They will also enjoy a complimentary breakfast.

The marathon includes three distance categories, offering substantial cash rewards for the winners.

Every runner crossing the finish line will be honored with a medal and an online certificate.

Adding to the marathon’s allure are engaging roadside entertainments like Zumba and traditional dances, ensuring a lively atmosphere.

Support services such as hydration stations and medical aid will be readily available.

The event will culminate in a cultural extravaganza at Kushal Palli Resort, featuring the acclaimed Kalbelia dance by Padma Shri Gulabo Sapera.

This marathon is a collaborative effort with the Ajodhya Pahad Tribal Unnayan Sangh, highlighting the area’s vibrant heritage.

The organizing team has been actively engaged in preparations, ensuring a memorable experience for all attendees.

A recent press conference at Bistupur Chamber Bhawan highlighted the marathon’s significance, drawing attention from numerous local dignitaries.
