Karim City College Students Secure Placements At Vedanta Aluminium

18 Final-Year BSc Graduates Selected As Trainees With Rs 4.65 Lakh Annual Package

Successful online recruitment drive highlights institution’s focus on career development.

JAMSHEDPUR – Eighteen final-year BSc students from Karim City College, Sakchi, have been selected as graduate trainees at Vedanta Aluminium Limited, Jharsuguda.

"This placement success reflects our commitment to student career development," stated Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, Principal of Karim City College.

The selected students will receive an annual CTC package of Rs 4.65 lakh.

Dr. G. Vijayalakshmi, placement coordinator, efficiently managed the three-phase online recruitment process that began in June.

Seven Physics (Hons), six Chemistry (Hons), and five Mathematics (Hons) students secured positions in this drive.

"We’re proud of our students’ achievements and confident in their future success," Dr. Reyaz added, providing guidance to the selected candidates.

Notable faculty members, including Dr. Anwar Shahab and Dr. Aftab Alam, were present to congratulate the students.

The placement highlights the college’s strong industry connections and focus on employability.
