All vegetable markets of Jamshedpur sanitised again on Sunday

Jamshedpur: On the instructions of the Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla, the vegetable markets under all the three local bodies of the city were sanitised again on Sunday.

All the vegetable markets were kept closed on the instructions of the DC and the sanitisation work began at 6 a.m.

JNAC Special Officer Krishna Kumar, Jugsalai Municipality Executive Officer Jagdish Yadav and MNAC executive officer Ravindra Gagrai were overseeing the sanitisation work.

Under MNAC, the vegetable markets near Gandhi Maidan, Durga Mandir, Dimna Road, MGMCH, Dimna Chowk, Fish market, Purulia Road etc were sanitised.

Similarly, in Jugsalai, the vegetable markets near Idgah Maidan, Naya Bazar, Balak Madhya Vidyalaya, Station Road, D B road, Bagbera etc were sanitised.

It may be recalled that the DC has ordered that all vegetable markets be kept closed from Saturday 3 p.m. till Sunday 7 p.m. every week, so that sanitisation be carried out in the greater interest of the citizens.
