PM Modi’s foundation stone ceremony for railway station redevelopment to be broadcast live at Tatanagar.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of 18 railway stations in Jharkhand under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with a budget of approximately Rs 600 crore.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant move to enhance railway infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the redevelopment of several stations in Jharkhand, including Tatanagar, under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.

The ceremony, set to take place on February 26, will also see the foundation stone laid for the construction of 44 road overbridge underpasses in the state.

Stations like Chakradharpur, Gamharia, Sini, and others are part of this extensive redevelopment plan, aimed at modernizing facilities and improving passenger amenities.

Tatanagar Railway Station’s redevelopment is a highlight, with additional projects like the construction of railway under bridges and a subway between Galudih and Rakhamines in the Kharagpur Railway Division.

The live telecast of the online foundation stone laying ceremony at Tatanagar station is anticipated with great enthusiasm among BJP workers and local citizens.

Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato and BJP Jamshedpur Metropolitan President Sudhanshu Ojha are among the key participants in the ceremony, highlighting the project’s significance for the region.

The redevelopment efforts are praised for their potential to ease travel, enhance rail transport, and create employment opportunities, with improvements in station access, waiting halls, toilets, cleanliness, and passenger information systems.

The BJP has mobilized its workers for widespread participation in the ceremony, underscoring the community’s support for the ambitious redevelopment project.

The BJP cadre’s excitement is palpable as they prepare for the foundation stone laying ceremony.
