Signature campaign initiated by Seva Hi Lakshya NGO to improve road conditions in rural Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – The road condition in Jamshedpur’s rural areas continues to deteriorate, despite ongoing protests from local residents.
The situation has reached such alarming levels that it has created an atmosphere of fear among the populace due to a constant increase in road accidents.
Places like Parsudih, Haludbani, Bedadipa, Ranadih, and Gadara Govindpur are the worst affected.

Despite several agitations from local organizations and people, little to no change has been observed in the condition of the roads.
In a bid to address the issue, Seva Hi Lakshya NGO has initiated a signature campaign to voice the concerns of the locals and draw the attention of the government and public representatives.
The most recent phase of the campaign was conducted at Barigora Chowk, with enthusiastic participation from the locals.
Locals question the lack of action and wonder how long they will have to live in fear.
Manik Malik of Seva Hi Lakshya NGO said, “With government and public representatives seemingly unaffected by the ongoing agitation, the people are bound to engage in more aggressive protests if no improvement is seen.”
