Johar Haat Celebrates “Baha & Maghe” Festivals, Showcases Nature’s Bounty

Johar Haat’s February 2024 edition spotlights natural products and spring festivals, fostering a connection with nature. Participants from four states will showcase herbal oils, massage products, and more.
JAMSHEDPUR – Johar Haat, a Tata Steel Foundation initiative, launched its February 2024 edition under the theme "Baha & Maghe" festivals. These spring celebrations highlight the deep bond between humans and nature.
The event will feature Samuday Ke Sath film screenings to complement its focus on natural wellness. A total of 23 participants representing five tribes (Hakki Pikki, Ho, Munda, Oraon, and Santhal) from Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal, and Karnataka are taking part.
Workshops on jewelry making, essential oils, and tribal cuisine will enrich the week-long Haat experience. Attendees can indulge in unique tribal dishes inspired by the "Baha & Maghe" spring festivals.
