The Kalash Yatra, led by thousands, showcased a vibrant tableau featuring Shiva, Parvati, and their divine family, captivating onlookers.
Amidst chants of "Bol Bam," women, in a display of unity and faith, danced their way through the procession.
They embarked from the temple to the Swarnarekha river, engaging in ritualistic prayers and vows before returning with water-filled urns.
This three-day spiritual event began under the guidance of a distinguished Maha Pandit from Banaras.
A highlight includes a city procession of deities on the event’s second day, followed by a Havan and grand feast on the final day, with the community at large invited to partake.
In addition to the Shiva Linga consecration, new idols of Bajrangbali and Maa Durga will also be established within the temple grounds.
Girish Singh, the Temple Committee Chairman, revealed that the original Shivalinga was damaged, prompting the introduction of the Narmadeshwar Shivling, sourced from near Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh.
