Congress Appoints Observers Ahead of Jharkhand and Maharashtra Poll Results

RANCHI – Ahead of the Assembly election results in Jharkhand and Maharashtra, the Congress Party has appointed senior leaders as observers to monitor post-election developments. The results for both states are set to be announced on November 23.

Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal issued a notification detailing the appointments. In Jharkhand, the observers are Tariq Anwar, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, and Krishna Allavuru. For Maharashtra, former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, and Karnataka leader Dr. G Parameshwara have been designated.

In his letter, Venugopal stated, “These leaders have been appointed as observers to immediately oversee the post-election scenarios in Maharashtra and Jharkhand.”

The appointments underline Congress’s preparation for managing alliances, negotiations, and other outcomes of the crucial elections in both states.
