Jharkhand Braces for Rainfall and Temperature Rise

Upcoming Rain to Alter Weather Patterns in Jharkhand

Weather shifts anticipated in Jharkhand, with rainfall expected to bring a slight increase in temperatures.

RANCHI – After experiencing dry and windy conditions, Jharkhand, including Kolhan, is set for a weather change, with rain forecasted to elevate the chill factor.

Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 26.3°C and a minimum of 10.8°C, amidst dry weather and strong winds.

Meteorologist Dr. Abhishek Anand predicts partly cloudy skies starting February 10, followed by light to moderate rainfall from February 12 to 15.

The weather is expected to remain dry and partly cloudy on February 10 and 11, before the onset of the anticipated rain.

Rain alerts have been issued for several districts, including Godda, Deoghar, and Ranchi, with potential thunderstorms from February 13 to 15.

The Ranchi weather center forecasts a four-day rain spell beginning February 12, affecting numerous districts and likely causing temperature shifts.

Minimum temperatures are not expected to change significantly in the next 23 hours, but a gradual increase of 3 to 5°C is predicted in the days following.

The state will see partly cloudy skies and dry conditions on February 10 and 11, setting the stage for the expected rainfall.

Starting February 12, light rain and isolated thundershowers could impact northern and central Jharkhand, including districts like Hazaribagh and Ranchi.
