JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur experienced a moderate rise in maximum temperatures, marking a 0.6°C increase from normal.
The minimum temperature in the city during the last 24 hours observed was 18.7°C, representing a slight departure from normal.
Rainfall in the adjoining West Singhbhum region reached 25.0 mm, signaling a noticeable wet spell for the area. However, in Jamshedpur, the rainfall recorded hovered at only 6.2 mm.
Notably, the highest rainfall recorded in the vicinity was at Tatisilwai and Jagannathpur, with Tatisilwai (Ranchi) receiving 26.8 mm and Jagannathpur KVK AWS (W. Singhbhum) receiving 25.0 mm.
These readings are part of the broader weather trends in the region, which saw Ranchi and Bokaro also experiencing temperature fluctuations and varying rainfall.
Across the network of automated weather stations, Simdega recorded a modest 3.5 mm of rainfall, while West Singhbhum stood out with 25 mm, aligning with the precipitation patterns in Jamshedpur.
