JAMSHEDPUR – A young woman named B Kumari Yadav, aged 30, died at MGM Hospital on Tuesday after allegedly consuming poison on Sunday following a domestic dispute.

The incident occurred in the Golmuri police station area, where B lived in Tuiladungri, A Block, Road No. 6, and worked in Sakchi.

According to her brother, S Kumar, the deceased ingested poison at home after a disagreement with family members.

She was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment.

Despite efforts to save her, she passed away on Tuesday morning.

The family informed the police on Wednesday, after which the police took possession of the body and sent it for postmortem.

Following the procedure, the body was handed back to the family for last rites.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
