Jubilee Park Lights Up for Jamsetji Tata’s Anniversary with Tech-Themed Celebrations
The 185th birth anniversary of Tata Group’s founder, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, began with the spectacular illumination of Jubilee Park, marking the onset of a series of celebrations in Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jubilee Park became a visual spectacle on March 2, as Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran inaugurated the Founder’s Day illuminations in honor of Jamsetji Tata.
The event saw senior Tata officials and dignitaries paying homage to the founder.
A paradise of lights transformed Jubilee Park, resonating with the spirit of celebration.
This year’s theme, ‘Technology for People and Planet,’ underscored Tata’s vision.
Over 50 sites across Jamshedpur, including parks and heritage buildings, were lit up.
The illuminations, part of a broader tribute to Jamsetji Tata, will be open to the public from March 3-5.
Founder’s Day Festivities
A plethora of activities are planned, including a pageantry parade and technology exhibition.
Founder’s Day sports events will engage Tata employees and the community alike.
The exhibition at Steelennium Hall will focus on technology’s role in sustainable development.

The extensive lighting setup aims to remind residents and visitors of Jamshedpur’s beauty.
