The match witnessed a spirited comeback from the visitors in the second half, underlining the impact of head coach Khalid Jamil’s leadership.

The home team, Mumbai City FC, initially took the lead with Tiri and Alberto Noguera scoring in the 14th and 32nd minutes, respectively. Their efforts from set pieces seemed to set Mumbai City FC for a comfortable win at the halftime.
