JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Zoological Park today introduced newly arrived Zebras and exotic birds to the public in a special event led by Shaba Alam Ansari, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of Jamshedpur.

The zebras were released into a makeshift enclosure, enhancing the park’s wildlife diversity and promising to captivate visitors with their striking appearance.

Alongside the zebras, various exotic birds, including the Blue and Yellow Macaw, Galah Cockatoo, and Orange Winged Amazon, were also released.

These additions aim to enrich the educational and recreational experiences of visitors.

During the event, DFO Shaba Alam Ansari emphasized the importance of environmental conservation and encouraged Jamshedpur citizens to participate in green initiatives.

In a symbolic gesture, he planted a tree under the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" initiative as part of the "Swachhata Hi Seva" campaign, promoting tree plantation and sustainability.

Captain Amitabh, Honorable Secretary of the park, expressed gratitude to the DFO and reiterated the zoo’s commitment to wildlife conservation.

He invited the community to visit the park, enjoy the new attractions, and reflect on the significance of protecting the environment for future generations.

The newly arrived zebras and exotic birds are now open for public viewing.
