Thorough Rehearsals for Jamshedpur’s Republic Day Parade
In Jamshedpur, preparations for a grand Republic Day celebration are underway, highlighted by meticulous parade rehearsals and robust security measures.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur residents are eagerly awaiting a grand and inspiring Republic Day celebration, as the district administration finalizes its preparations.
The combined efforts of district officials and law enforcement are aimed at delivering a memorable event that embodies national unity and patriotism.
Key officials, including City SP Mukesh Lunayat and Rural SP Rishabh Garg, along with District Public Relations Officer Rohit Kumar and other dignitaries, were present at the rehearsal, underscoring the event’s importance.
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri has emphasized the need for well-managed celebrations, with flag hoisting ceremonies planned at all government buildings and offices.
During his visit to Gopal Maidan, Bhajantri carefully reviewed arrangements regarding law and order, traffic, visitor seating, and the availability of essential services like ambulances and fire brigades.
The district administration is fully committed to ensuring a well-orchestrated and grand event, with preparations having started as early as January 20, 2024.
The final rehearsal on January 24, 2024, was closely monitored to ensure the precision and efficiency of the parade, which features various platoons and groups.
Participating in the rehearsal were 1 Platoon JAP-6, 3 Platoon District Police Force, 1 Platoon District Home Guard, 2 Platoon NCC, and a Platoon of Scouts and Guides.
Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal meticulously inspected the final rehearsal to ensure the seamless execution of the Republic Day Parade.
The Republic Day celebrations in Jamshedpur are set to be a distinguished event at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, with Health Minister Banna Gupta attending as the chief guest.
