BJM Demands Holiday for Ayodhya Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony in Jamshedpur

Call for Holiday on Ram Mandir Consecration Event in East Singhbhum District

In a move reflecting widespread excitement for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav in Ayodhya, the Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) has urged for a government holiday in East Singhbhum’s educational institutions, emphasizing the event’s historical and cultural significance.

JAMSHEDPUR – A group of prominent Bharatiya Jantantra Morcha (BJM) members, including the District President Manoj Singh Ujjain, Vikas Gupta, Dharmendra Prasad, and others, recently advocated for a public holiday in East Singhbhum district.

They urged the local authorities to recognize the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, a notable life consecration ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala, by declaring a one-day holiday.

This request, led by District President Subodh Shrivastav, was formally presented to the Deputy Commissioner through a memorandum.

The BJM’s appeal highlights the desire of the local community to participate in the Mahotsav, reflecting deep cultural and religious sentiments.

They emphasized that the consecration of Lord Shri Ram Lala’s idol in Ayodhya is a momentous event, eagerly anticipated across the nation.

The memorandum pointed out that this celebration marks an end to centuries of waiting and is a source of joy and excitement for the entire country.

BJM’s statement further elaborated that the holiday would allow residents to engage in festivities, including worship and devotional songs, echoing the grandeur of other national celebrations.

This proposed holiday, according to the BJM, would enable the people of East Singhbhum to witness the event directly in Ayodhya and celebrate it with their families.
