Mayawati’s Party to Contest 2024 Polls Alone, No Truck with Any Party

Lucknow: On her birthday, BSP chief Mayawati made a significant statement: Her party would run independently in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections rather than forming an alliance with any other party.

Mayawati, the president of the Bahujan Samaj Party, was born on January 15, 1956.

The BSP president said at a news conference that she will run alone in the Lok Sabha elections on this momentous day.

The BSP will not join forces with any political party for the next Lok Sabha elections.

She said that they would do better in the elections if we fought one other alone.

She said her own party is harmed by the collaboration.

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the SP, and the government were also the targets of her ferocious criticism.

Mayawati stated, “Our party gets less benefit and more loss from the alliance,” during the news conference. Election tampering causes further defeats for our party. The BSP does not receive more votes. Consequently, the BSP has determined that, in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections, we would not form an alliance with anybody.

Will keep a safe distance from groups with similar goals. Most parties have a casteist attitude. Every election has rigged electronic voting machines. Numerous people objected to this. Fair elections have to be held throughout the nation.

Mayawati went on to criticize the administration, claiming that, rather than creating jobs or work, people are being made reliant on a small free ration; in contrast, under our government, we did not do this. We offered work opportunities in both government and non-government industries.

Akhilesh Yadav, the leader of the SP, was also harshly criticized by BSP president Mayawati during the news conference.

According to her, Akhilesh altered his stand like a chameleon.

Additionally, she called speculation on her retirement “baseless.”
