JAMSHEDPUR – Dr. Abhilash, Senior Principal Scientist at the CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory, has been awarded the Vigyan Yuva – Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award for Engineering Sciences.

Dr. Abhilash was presented with the accolade by President Droupadi Murmu, who recognized his exceptional contributions.

The scientist has devised novel methods for extracting critical and strategic metals from secondary resources.
