JAMSHEDPUR – The electoral groundwork for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections in the Jamshedpur constituency has commenced with the first randomization of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).
This pivotal event took place in the Jamshedpur Collectorate Auditorium and was attended by representatives from various political parties.
District Election Officer Ananya Mittal, alongside other electoral officials, was present to oversee the proceedings.
Before the commencement of the assembly-wise randomization, officials took the opportunity to elucidate the randomization process to the gathered political party representatives.
Ensuring Transparency
After the completion of the randomization, a comprehensive discussion was facilitated regarding key election protocols.
Topics such as the Model Code of Conduct, the nomination process, and crucial deadlines for voter list inclusion were thoroughly discussed.
"This step ensures that the EVMs are allocated fairly and that the election process remains transparent and credible," stated Ananya Mittal during the discussion.
