Rajesh Kumar Shukla Vows to Enhance Advocates’ Welfare in Jharkhand

Jharkhand State Bar Council’s Vice Chairman commits to improving infrastructure and welfare for state’s advocates.

GHATSHILA – Rajesh Kumar Shukla, Vice Chairman of the Jharkhand State Bar Council and a renowned senior advocate, has affirmed the Council’s dedication to safeguarding the interests of Jharkhand’s advocates.

Shukla emphasized the need for an Advocate Welfare Fund in Jharkhand’s budget, similar to other states, and is actively pursuing this goal.

During his visit to the Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Bar Association, he was warmly welcomed and felicitated by its President, Shri Rakesh Sharma, and Secretary, Shri Bablu Mukherjee.

Addressing the gathering, Shukla acknowledged the challenges faced by Ghatshila’s advocates and promised efforts to enhance local court and bar association infrastructure.

He highlighted Jharkhand’s leadership in implementing welfare schemes for advocates, urging the state government to contribute actively.

Shukla also discussed plans to expand the Ghatshila Bar Association building, intending to involve the Deputy Commissioner of East Singhbhum, Principal District and Sessions Judge, and the Judge in-charge of the High Court.

Ghatshila Bar Association’s President Sharma lauded Shukla’s consistent efforts in advocating for the welfare of Jharkhand’s advocates.

Shukla’s achievements, recognized through awards in eight states, have brought pride to Jharkhand’s legal community.

The event saw a large turnout of advocates, with a vote of thanks by Shri Bablu Mukherjee and a special honor bestowed upon Shukla by former president Advocate Dashrath Mahato.
