Police recover mutilated body of unidentified youth from Roma hill forest, West Singhbhum. Locals fear criminals might be active in the area.
Chaibasa: In a gruesome discovery, the mutilated body of an unidentified youth was found in the forest of Tantnagar OP area in West Singhbhum.
The body, with the head, hands, and legs severed, was wrapped in plastic and dumped in the Roma hill forest of Tangar Pokharia.
The macabre find has sent shockwaves through the local community, triggering fear that the area might have fallen prey to criminal activities. It’s suspected that the young man was murdered elsewhere and his body subsequently discarded in the forest.
The local police authorities have recovered the body and are in the process of transporting it to MGM Jamshedpur for a postmortem examination.
The investigation is ongoing, as police attempt to piece together the horrifying circumstances surrounding the death and identify the deceased.
