Ashwini Upadhyay to Speak on Ram Rajya, Indian Constitution in Jamshedpur
Swami Vivekananda Jayanti to Feature Prominent Lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay at Tulsi Bhawan
Ashwini Upadhyay, a renowned lawyer, will address the themes of ‘Ram Rajya’ and the Indian Constitution at Tulsi Bhawan on Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
JAMSHEDPUR – On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, Tulsi Bhawan in Jamshedpur is set to host a significant event titled ‘Vichar Sadhana Session’.
The session, organized by the Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan, was detailed in a press conference held on Thursday.
Ashwini Upadhyay, a prominent lawyer from Delhi known for his extensive work in Public Interest Litigations (PILs), will be the chief guest at the event.
Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato and former Chief of Factories Arun Mishra will also grace the occasion, with the latter presiding over the program.
Scheduled to commence at 5 pm, the event will focus on ‘Ramrajya and the Indian Constitution’ as its main topic.
Upadhyay, often referred to as the ‘PIL Man of India’, is acclaimed for his legal endeavors to enhance political transparency and combat corruption.
His notable PILs led to the establishment of the PMLA Court by the Supreme Court.
Currently, he is involved in a petition challenging the constitutionality of the Waqf Board Act and has filed a PIL against the Worship Act.
In total, Upadhyay has presented 125 PILs in the Supreme Court and 25 in the Delhi High Court.
The press conference announcing the event was attended by several dignitaries.
These included Tulsi Bhawan President Subhash Chandra Munka, program coordinator Dharmchand Poddar who is also the President of Bharatiya Jan Sabha, Bajrang Seva Sansthan President Sagar Tiwari, Hindu Jagran Manch’s Raju Kumar, and Tulsi Bhawan Honorary General Secretary Prasenjit Tiwari.
This event is a notable convergence of thought leaders and influencers, set to discuss vital topics related to India’s cultural heritage and constitutional values.
