Innovative Lottery System for Nursery Admissions at DAV Bistupur

DAV Public School, Bistupur, exemplifies transparency and fairness in its nursery admissions for 2024-2025 through a manual lottery draw.

JAMSHEDPUR – DAV Public School, Bistupur, on Wednesday January 10th, 2024, hosted a landmark event, introducing a manual lottery system for nursery admissions for the academic year 2024-2025.

This system, aimed at ensuring transparency, successfully allocated 150 nursery seats equally between male and female candidates.

The event was distinguished by the presence of various esteemed dignitaries, with Mrs. Pragya Singh, Principal of DAVPS Bistupur, extending a warm welcome and sharing motivational thoughts.

Notably, the lottery included a special provision, reserving 50 out of 200 seats for the BPL quota, showcasing the school’s commitment to inclusivity.

The draw, which commenced at 11:30 a.m., was conducted under the watchful eyes of esteemed LMC Members and Principals.

Several respected LMC Members graced the event in person, including Mrs. Kiran Yadav, Mr. Asis Kumar Mandal, Mr. Anuj Kumar Mishra, Mr. Satish Kumar Singh, Mrs. Nidhi Singh, Mrs. Sujata Mukherjee, Mr. Amit Khirwal, and Mr. Awashesh Kumar.

The event also witnessed the virtual participation of distinguished LMC Members such as Mrs. P. Sofat, Mr. Ravinder Talwar, Mr. R.K. Sethi, and Mr. S.K. Sinha.

A group of ten parents, whose children were registered for the nursery admission, were invited to observe the draw, ensuring further transparency.

The program highlighted the dedication and efforts of the school’s teachers, particularly Mrs. Sutapa Ghosh, Mrs. Kanchan Kumari, Mrs. Sujata Mukherjee, Mrs. Rinki Kumari, Mrs. Sunita Kumari, and Mr. Abhishek Kumar.

The selection list and video of the lottery draw will be made available on the DAV Public School website, as determined by the LMC.
