BJP leader Dinesh Kumar helps student with a smartphone

Former BJP district president Dinesh Kumar helped a high school girl student with a smartphone. She was unable to attend online classes.

Seraikela: L Nand, a student of New Colony Upgrade High School, lives in Dindli Basti, Adityapur and belongs to a financially weak family.

Her father lost job due to an accident and family depends on whatever her mother earns by working as a house-help in a few houses.

She was unable to attend online classes due to non-availability of smartphones.

Last year her father lost his job due to an accident.

Mother U Nand works as a househelp.

Her mother had sought help from a local journalist and a social organisation Shiksha Satyagraha. She had urged them to provide a smartphone to her daughter, who is a class 9 student.

On Tuesday, BJP leader Dinesh Kumar took the initiative and handed over a smartphone to Lakshmi.

He also wished the student all the best for her bright future.
