Jharkhand CM Pays Homage to Nirmal Mahato on 73rd Birth Anniversary
Statewide Tributes Pour in for Jharkhand’s Iconic Leader, Nirmal Mahato
Jharkhand commemorates the 73rd birth anniversary of Martyr Nirmal Mahato with tributes led by the Chief Minister and other dignitaries.
RANCHI – Jharkhand’s Chief Minister Hemant Soren visited Shaheed Nirmal Mahato Chowk in Ranchi, paying homage to the late Nirmal Mahato on his 73rd birth anniversary.
He laid floral tributes at the statue of the Jharkhand movement pioneer, Veer Shaheed Nirmal Mahato.
In Jamshedpur, Health Minister Banna Gupta commemorated the occasion by laying a wreath at Nirmal Mahato’s Samadhi site.
The day marks the celebration of the 73rd birth anniversary of Nirmal Mahato, a key figure in the Jharkhand movement and former president of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.

People from Jharkhand, Bengal, and Odisha, in the thousands, gathered to pay respects to Mahato.
Crowds began assembling early in the morning at Uliyan on Monday.
Additionally, a significant number of people gathered near Chamaria Guest House in Northern Town, Bistupur, to honor the late leader.
Tributes were also paid by members of BJP, Congress, RJD, JDU, AAP, and other parties and social organizations.
The event in Uliyan saw the presence of ministers Champai Soren and Banna Gupta, along with almost all JMM MLAs from Kolhan, including JMM District President and MLA Ramdas Soren.
