JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Steel Sports Department is gearing up for its inaugural Winter Sports Camp 2023, set to commence on December 24 at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

Registrations for the camp, open to youngsters aged 6 to 18, will close promptly at 12 noon on December 24.

The camp promises a vibrant opening ceremony on December 24 and will culminate with a prize distribution on December 31.

Scheduled between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM daily, the camp features an array of sports activities, with swimming sessions planned from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Participants can engage in various sports, including swimming, horse riding, badminton, and football, amongst others.

The registration fees are categorized into four grades, ranging from ₹400 for Grade-A sports like swimming and horse riding to ₹150 for Grade-D activities such as yoga and Zumba.

In a significant community outreach, the camp will also host 30 special children through Special Olympic Bharat-Jharkhand and 50 community children.

The opening day will be marked by a Christmas Carnival, replete with a soft play area, live music, and food stalls, creating a festive atmosphere.

A special session focused on Sports Psychology and Nutrition will be conducted for parents, adding an educational element to the event.
