Jamshedpur ASI Accused of Sexual Exploitation

Woman Alleges Sexual Misconduct by Jamshedpur ASI

A woman in Jamshedpur accuses a police sub-inspector of sexual exploitation, demands justice following a failed settlement attempt.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a shocking development, an assistant police sub-inspector from the Parsudih police station in Jamshedpur has been accused of sexual exploitation.

The case came to light after a woman alleged that the sub-inspector engaged in sexual misconduct with her.

Following her complaint, the accused sub-inspector attempted to settle the matter by issuing a Rs 9 lakh cheque to the woman, which unfortunately bounced.

The victim has now approached the Jamshedpur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), seeking justice for the wrongs committed against her.

The complaint was originally filed at the Sakchi Mahila Police Station, where the woman detailed her encounter with the ASI, initially meeting him at the Telco police station over a dispute involving her husband.

According to the woman, the ASI lured her to his house, urged her to divorce her husband, and then initiated non-consensual sexual relations, threatening to conceal the incident.

After her initial complaint, a settlement was agreed upon, but the cheque provided to her as part of the settlement bounced, leading her to seek justice again.

The woman, who had been living under the threat of intimidation for an extended period, has now resolutely approached the police, hoping for a fair resolution and justice.
