BJP Mahila Morcha Burns Nitish Kumar’s Effigy in Ranchi Against His ‘Vulgar’ Remark

BJP Calls Out Nitish Kumar’s Sex Education Remark in Bihar Assembly

In a recent controversial statement by Bihar CM, the importance of women’s education in population control led to public uproar and political skirmish.

RANCHI – Today, the political climate in Jharkhand heated up as members of the BJP Mahila Morcha took to the streets of Ranchi against the ‘vulgar remarks’ of Nitish Kumar on the floor of Bihar Assembly for which the latter has apologized too.

In a dramatic display of dissent, they burnt an effigy of Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar.

Their anger was directed at Kumar’s recent remarks in the Bihar Assembly, which they deemed vulgar and disrespectful towards women.

The derogatory comments, made in the context of sex education and population control, stirred a hornet’s nest.

Critics, including the BJP state unit, slammed Kumar, labeling him ‘Nirlajj Kumar’ – shameless Kumar – and called for his immediate resignation.

The BJP accused him of exhibiting a sick mentality, suggesting he required psychiatric help.

Even though Kumar tendered an apology, the Mahila Morcha’s protests underscore the deep-seated resentment.

Their outcry resonates with the National Commission for Women’s demand for stringent action and a public apology from Kumar.

The incident has escalated into a national controversy, with protests spreading to Delhi.

Political analysts observe this as a reflection of the growing intolerance towards sexist rhetoric in Indian politics.
