JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee has launched a comprehensive cleanliness drive with mandatory PPE kits for workers and penalties for open dumping.

Moreover, contractors received clear instructions about worker deployments. “Safety of sanitation workers is our top priority,” remarked a senior JNAC official.
Enhanced Monitoring System
The administration has introduced a new reporting mechanism. Supervisors must submit weekly status reports on cleaning activities.
Furthermore, nodal officers will conduct surprise inspections. The move aims to maintain high cleaning standards across the city.
Public Awareness and Enforcement
JNAC plans to launch public announcements about proper waste disposal. Residents violating guidelines will face immediate penalties.
In addition, JNAC has previously conducted successful cleanliness drives. The authority has installed numerous waste bins across the city.
“Public cooperation is crucial for maintaining cleanliness,” stated a JNAC supervisor. The initiative builds on earlier successful sanitation programs.
