Kandra Market Road Encroachments Cleared by Police

Police Force Takes Action Against Road Encroachments in Kandra’s Main Market

Police clear road encroachments in Kandra main market; Shopkeepers warned, drivers rebuked.

SERAIKELA – Police led by station in-charge Pascal Toppo took stern measures to clear the road encroachments in Kandra’s main market.

Two-wheeler, three-wheeler, and four-wheeler drivers who parked in front of shops were rebuked and warned not to park on the road.

Seeing the large police force, there was a commotion among drivers, causing them to disappear with their vehicles.

The slabs on roadside drains were also encroached upon by shopkeepers, causing significant difficulties for pedestrians.

Pedestrians were often forced to travel in the middle of the road, risking their lives.

The road becomes perilously narrow in the main market due to parked vehicles, increasing the risk of accidents.

Shopkeepers were sternly warned about encroaching on the footpath, with strict legal action threatened if they failed to comply.

Despite the ongoing problems, no parking arrangements have been made by the district administration in the Kandra area, exacerbating the parking issues for drivers.

Administrative officials have been informed about the parking problem on multiple occasions, but no solutions have been implemented yet.
