Jamshedpur Women’s University inaugurates new facilities to enhance educational infrastructure and student experience.
JAMSHEDPUR – Education Minister Champai Soren inaugurated new facilities at Jamshedpur Women’s University’s Bistupur Campus.
Jamshedpur Women’s University celebrated a significant expansion with the inauguration of three new facilities at its Bistupur Campus.
Education Minister Champai Soren, serving as the Chief Guest, unveiled the Kharkai Auditorium, Aryabhatta Advanced Computer Lab, and Smart Seminar Hall.
The Minister received a warm welcome, featuring local tribal dance performances and enthusiastic applause from NSS students.
The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of lamps and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a spirited Kulgeet performance by Dr. Sanatan Deep and the Music Department.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anjila Gupta honored Shri Soren with a certificate, shawl, memento, and plant.
In his address, Minister Soren praised the university’s progress and emphasized education’s crucial role in Jharkhand’s development.
"Advancements in education, health, and agriculture are vital for our state’s growth," Soren remarked, highlighting the importance of these sectors.
Dr. Salomi Kujur, the program coordinator, provided insights into the university’s development trajectory and future plans.
The event concluded with the national anthem, fostering a sense of patriotism among the attendees.
A university spokesperson, speaking anonymously, stated, "These new facilities represent a significant step forward in our mission to provide world-class education to our students."
The inaugural ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Kishwar Ara and Finance Officer Dr. Javed Ahmed.
