Vendors Warned to Vacate Roadside Premises to Alleviate Traffic Congestion
In a joint campaign on Friday, traffic and Adityapur police addressed the persistent issue of encroachment by fruit and vegetable vendors along Adityapur Thana Road, which has been a significant cause of traffic congestion.
ADITYAPUR – The issue of encroachment by fruit and vegetable vendors along Adityapur Thana Road, which has been causing traffic congestion, was addressed by Traffic and Adityapur police.
The campaign was organized by Rajesh Kumar Singh, who is in charge of traffic, and Nitin Kumar Singh, who is in charge of the Adityapur Police Station.
Throughout the operation, vendors were kindly reminded and given instructions to kindly leave the premises by the roadside.
Despite receiving warnings, no action was taken to promptly address the issue.
Authorities stressed the importance of compliance, warning that failure to do so could result in the confiscation of goods and the implementation of stricter measures.
The encroachment has significantly contributed to the frequent traffic congestion in the area.
Shopkeepers have been served notices under Section 34, kindly advising them to refrain from any future encroachments.
This project aims to bring together different stakeholders to address the problem and enhance the traffic situation on Adityapur Thana Road.
