SER Trains to be Augmented with Additional Coaches for Enhanced Passenger Comfort

South Eastern Railway announces the permanent augmentation of several Duronto and Humsafar Express trains with additional AC coaches to enhance the comfort of passengers.

JAMSHEDPUR – South Eastern Railway (SER) has announced a permanent augmentation in a series of train services to cater to the growing demand and enhance the comfort of travelling passengers.

The augmentation schedule is as follows:

·12222 Howrah-Pune Duronto Express will be augmented by attaching one AC 2 Tier Coach with effect from 12.08.2023.

·12221 Pune-Howrah Duronto Express will have one AC 2 Tier Coach added with effect from 14.08.2023.

·12262 Howrah-CSMT Mumbai Duronto Express will see the addition of one AC 2 Tier Coach starting from 11.08.2023.

·12261 CSMT Mumbai-Howrah Duronto Express will be augmented with one AC 2 Tier Coach from 13.08.2023.

·20822 Santragachi-Pune Humsafar Express will be augmented by attaching one AC 3 Tier Coach from 12.08.2023.

·20821 Pune-Santragachi Humsafar Express will have one AC 3 Tier Coach added starting 14.08.2023.

The permanent augmentation of these trains aims to meet the increasing demand for AC travel and enhance the convenience and comfort of passengers.
