Trailer hits youth near Mango Big Bazar causing death, driver flees

In a tragic incident a speeding trailer hit a youth crossing the road near Big Bazar, Mango. The youth died on the spot.

Jamshedpur: A youth died in a road accident near Big Bazar, Mango on NH-33 Friday noon . The deceased is yet to be identified.

According to information received, the youth was trying to cross the road, when a speeding trailer hit him. He was crushed to death instantly.

Locals informed the police. The officer-in-charge of Mango police station reached the site of occurrence with a team.

The trailer was seized by the police. However, the trailer driver managed to flee the site.

The police have sent the dead body for post mortem.

The police are now trying to identify the deceased and also trace the trailer driver.
