Jamshedpur Court Denies BJP Leader Abhay Singh’s Bail Plea Again
BJP leader Abhay Singh’s bail plea was denied by Jamshedpur Court amid charges of extortion and threat, with the case now heading to the Sessions Court.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a significant setback for BJP leader Abhay Singh, the Jamshedpur court denied his bail plea for the second time on Wednesday.
The case, filed under charges of extortion and murder, was heard by First Class Judicial Magistrate Utkarsh Jain in Mango police station.
Following the hearing, the court deemed that only the Sessions Court could make a decision on the charges levied against Singh, thereby rejecting his bail plea.
The refusal of the bail plea now leaves Singh’s legal team with the option to apply for bail at the District and Sessions Judge’s court. Abhay Singh’s legal team would now pin its hopes on the District and Sessions Judge’s court for relief.
