Inter House Chess Tournament Hosted by Tarapore School Showcases Students’ Strategic Skills
Tarapore School Inter House Chess Tournament spotlights students’ strategic prowess in both Junior and Senior categories.
JAMSHEDPUR – Tarapore School set the stage for an Inter House Chess Tournament on Monday, July 17, providing a platform for 21 students to showcase their chess acumen.
There were 10 participants in the Senior category and 11 in the Junior category, all competing fiercely in five intense rounds of strategic action.
In the Senior division, Pratyush Naman from Garnet House emerged victorious, with Kushagra, also of Garnet House, making a strong showing to secure the runners-up spot. Rajanya Raj Suryavanshi of Jade House bagged the third place.
In the Junior division, Debrup Majumdar of Amber House took the top spot with an extraordinary performance. Eshani Choudhury of Jade House showed remarkable skill to be the Runners-Up, and Prakhar Srivastava from Turquoise House secured the third place.
FA Chandan Kumar Prasad, the chief arbitrator, along with Manish Kumar, the administrative head-activity, and Kaushal Singh, who was responsible for the Inter House Sporting Event, ensured that the competition ran smoothly.
Ishita Dey, the principal of Tarapore School, officially inaugurated the event, marking a day of strategic brilliance.
