Elderly Woman Dies After Falling from Roof in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur

In an unfortunate incident, a 65-year-old woman fell from the roof of a house in Birsanagar, Jamshedpur, resulting in her death. The victim, Ketli Manjhi, was a resident of Laltand under Birsanagar police station area.

JAMSHEDPUR – Ketli Manjhi, a 65-year-old resident of Laltand under Birsanagar police station area in Jamshedpur, succumbed to injuries after falling from a roof. The incident occurred on Monday evening.

Manjhi used to work as a laborer in a house under construction in Laltand where work was taking place on the first floor. On Monday, Manjhi didn’t go to work but decided to check out the terrace due to ongoing work in the neighborhood. Suddenly, she fell from the roof.

Family members immediately took her to MGM Hospital. However, the doctor declared her brought dead upon arrival. The police have preserved Manjhi’s body in MGM’s mortuary, and the post-mortem will take place on Tuesday.

Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s fall from the roof.
