Jharkhand National Film Festival Returns This October

The much-anticipated Jharkhand National Film Festival is set to be held in October, featuring both national and international entries.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand National Film Festival, which has been on hiatus since the pandemic, is set to make its return this October.

This year, the festival is scheduled to span six days, extending invitations to not only national, but also international films.

The festival was inaugurated in 2018 and remained on hold during the coronavirus period.

This year marks the fourth iteration of the event, which will run from October 9 to 16.

Screenings will take place across various auditoriums in Jamshedpur, with the grand finale slated to occur at the Tata Auditorium XLR.

This edition of the festival is particularly special because, for the first time, international films will also be showcased.

So far, 60 films have been nominated, and the last day to submit entries is July 31st.
