Two Unfortunate Suicides on Same Day Shock Jamshedpur
A disconcerting wave of concern is growing across Jamshedpur as two residents, one being a minor, tragically took their own lives, sparking a discussion about the critical importance of mental health.
JAMSHEDPUR – In a disheartening event, a 12-year-old boy named Hariom Jha hailing from Mirudih in the Seraikela-Kharsawan district ended his life on Friday morning.
The young student was found hanging at his residence, under the jurisdiction of the RIT police station.
As per the information received, Hariom’s family members swiftly responded and transported him to MGM Hospital. However, despite their quick efforts, doctors declared the eighth-grader from Vishwa Vikas Vidyalaya, dead upon examination.
According to Chandan Jha, Hariom’s father, the minor had asked his mother for money earlier in the day. When his request was declined, an upset Hariom locked himself in his room, which subsequently led to the tragic event.
In a separate incident, a 35-year-old man named Vinod Shah, residing in Carriage Colony under the Burmamines police station, also took his own life on Thursday night. The incident was reported to the police by his family, who have now requested a postmortem. Shah, who worked as a driver, was found hanging at his residence.
