Golmuri Police Arrest Three Suspects, Seize Four Stolen Scooters

Police operation in Golmuri results in the arrest of three suspects and seizure of four stolen scooters.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Golmuri police have apprehended three individuals and recovered four stolen scooters in a successful operation.

The detainees have been identified as Savan and Sunil Kalindi, residents of Bhuiyandih, and Mohd Ismail from Mango Azadnagar.

Police staff Rajeev Ranjan from the Golmuri police station disclosed that the investigation started with the theft of a scooter belonging to Firdaus Ahmed, a resident of Muslim Basti, on May 1.

Following Ahmed’s statement, an FIR was lodged and the probe was initiated.

During the course of the investigation, Mohd. Ismail was detained with two scooters in his possession.

Further interrogation of Ismail led to the arrest of the other suspects.

It was revealed by the station manager that Mohd. Ismail had lent a scooter to a young man named Mukesh for Rs 5000.

Additionally, he was trying to sell another scooter by affixing the number plate from his father-in-law’s scooter.

All suspects are currently under police custody.
