Union Transport Minister to lay foundation of elevated double-decker corridor, inaugurate 4-lane road between Shahrabeda to Mahulia
DC and SSP inspect Gopal Maidan, issue instructions for smooth conduct of program and safety
Jamshedpur: Preparations are in full swing for the upcoming visit of Union Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari in Jamshedpur on March 23. The Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and the SSP Prabhat Kumar visited Gopal Maidan on Tuesday and issued appropriate instructions to the officials.
On Thursday, Nitin Gadkari, the Union Transport and Highways Minister, will lay the foundation stone from Bistupur Gopal Maidan to officially launch the elevated double corridor project from Pardih Kali Temple to Baliguma in Jamshedpur.
Apart from laying the foundation stone for the 10.5-kilometer elevated double-decker corridor, he will also inaugurate the four-lane road (flyover) between Shahrabeda to Mahulia. The arrival of Nitin Gadkari is highly anticipated by the local BJP workers and leaders in Jamshedpur.
The March 23 visit of Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister of Highways and Transport, is likely to have a significant impact on the transport convenience for the people of Jamshedpur.
Nitin Gadkari is known for his no-nonsense approach and the ability to get infrastructure projects implemented within stipulated time.
This time he is scheduled to arrive in Jamshedpur and present the residents of the city and the neighborhood with several gifts.
To prepare for the visit and offer required instructions to the officials, the DC Vijaya Jadhav, the SSP Prabhat Kumar and other top officials reached Gopal Maidan and examined the preparations on Tuesday.
Later, the DC Vijaya Jadhav said that everything will be finished on time and that preparations for the Union Minister’s visit had already started.
The SSP also provided police personnel with the appropriate instructions for ensuring security and safety.
