Two Injured as Car Overturns on NH-18 Near Kesharda High School
Car flips to avoid a child crossing the road unexpectedly on NH-18, causing severe injuries to two occupants, Pintu Kumar and Anshu Singh.
JAMSHEDPUR – In an unfortunate incident on Wednesday afternoon, two individuals sustained serious injuries when their car flipped over on NH-18, close to Kesharda High School.
The victims were identified as Pintu Kumar, aged 35, and Anshu Singh, aged 25.
The accident occurred when the car, registered under license plate number JH 01 FA 1709, attempted to dodge a young child who had unexpectedly run onto the road.
At the time of the mishap, the car was on its way from Ashoknagar to Baharagora.
After the police were alerted about the incident, the injured parties were promptly transported to the Baharagora Community Health Centre (CHC) for medical attention.
Pintu Kumar, who was in a serious condition, received initial medical attention at the CHC before he was referred to MGM Hospital in Jamshedpur for further treatment.
Meanwhile, Anshu Singh continues to be treated at the Baharagora CHC.
The incident stands as a stark reminder of the unpredictability of road conditions and the need for constant vigilance while driving.
